This is a newly vet picked up helmet that I just got yesterday. It's a complete m42 helmet that has been overpainted in a thick rough green paint. The liner is pigskin and the chinstrap is complete. The helmet is also nicely marked to the owner. I've seen helmets with a rank before the name, but I've never seen "SOLDAT" before.

Nice example of a late war, no decal, model 42 with a pig skin liner. Plus it still has the chinstrap.
