Hi everyone,I am at a loss on this sword.I am trying to find out age and what it is?The only marking is on the blade it is numbered 632195.It has a leather loop below the grip,a push button to release it from the scabbard. It has a green lanyard on the hand guard. There is a leather strap that looks like it would be for a shoulder strap and its attatched around the scabbard. It is mint and looks to have been unissued and still has oil/cosmoline on the blade.Beautiful sword just wish I knew what it is.Any help would be appreciated. Shawn

It's a Chinese sword made in the style of a Japanese Cavalry m1886 sword.

Looks like a newer version of the Japanese cavalry sword. Might be current Chinese issue.
Oops! Just saw Mazz beat me to it. But it is what it is.
