I spoke with dave in Raleigh Saturday. We were talking about trying to get together with some folks and come up with a rarity scale for HJs. Step one is RZMs working our way back to early makers. Please take the time to list your RZM numbers. We need to know what RZMs are out there first. Help us out. Just because someone has listed a number doesn't mean you can't list yours. If it has a date, please list that also. Lets all try and make this hobby fun again. What do you say? Russ

Yes Teufel, Arthur Evertz marks all their blades on the obverse! I also have a AES bayonet that is stamped on the front!

I have also seen "Arthur Evertz" spelled out along with the RZM number. I have not seen an Arthur Evertz with motto or one that is not at minimum transitional. Russ

Russ- Are you counting Transitional Maker Mark - RZM Marked daggers. Or just just RZM marked. I got a couple Trans. HJ if you want them for your list.

Either way is OK. We just want to see what numbers are out there. Russ

Russ,

Here comes my input on your RZM request.

First list is RZM only, no other makersmarck on the blade at all:
- 5 (with motto)
- 13 (3x, 2 zinc, 1 steel)
- 36
- 51-40
- 56-39
- 80-39 and 80-40

Second list is transitional, RZM + the makersmarck on the blade:

- 18-1939
- 30-1936
- 40
- 51-39 (+knight on reverse ricasso)
- 59
- 66-37, 66-39 and 66-42
- 83 (+ ! in triangle on ricasso)

Good luck with the work on your HJ rarety list!

Let me know if I can be of any help.

Greetings,

Herman
