Why does my Avatar distort at times and other times not? It is a JPeg file and is 94X125. Does anyone know what the remedy is for this?

Tried that and it only got worse. It hasn't been cropped or cut either. Maybe switch to a smooth 17yr old bourbon.

Mike, I'm not aware of that happening or why it would. Sometimes when a page is loading avatars will appear bigger but quickly return to normal. Of course I drink gin so it may be seeing things differently than you or Mike Dave

Dave, Seems like I am not the only one having this problem then. Ha! Hah! When is Vern switching? There! It just did it again! CRAP! That's what Ed told me to do and even that doesn't work.

I've noticed many of the moderators tabs/symbols under their name show up as red X boxes, such a Ron Weinand's has been that way for months. So I agree, there is some glitch somewhere...

I cannot tell you why the avatars distort, but I can tell you that if you see red X boxes the problem is at your end. Perhaps one of our computer guys can help.

Does the avatar continue to look distorted after the page loads?

Paul,
Yours looks like you put on about 20lbs. Is that a later avatar or another glitch? Uh Oh! After going over to the hunting and forestry forum, mind is squashed again.
Aaron, Yes it seems to do it after I have perused the other sections. If I close my browser and come back it is still distorted until I go in again and edit my avatar.
