Hello Zet.

I have not seen this before, perhaps Kurt Or someone will know. However, there were no Slovak daggers during the communist period. They were part of Czechoslovakia. Only before the war and after independence (1989?).

Can you get more photos. A close up of the crossguard would be helpful.

Let us see what Kurt thinks. He deals extensively in these. The price asked for this dagger might be at the high end.

Yes i think it is a problem , price of this dagger compare to polish daggers after ww2 is in high level but the maker says because of gold plated and it is a official price . For me it is too much. Regards zet

The price is reasonable. I've seen them go for as much as $1,000. Although they are of recent manufacture they are very rare.
