Came from the same collection that the DRK Leader, DLV daggers. Has 95% original silver finish! Leather is super. Please share your thoughts and daggers!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful piece. I notice that the lower chain has 12 links as apposed to the manufactured 14. I have a similar SMF 1st Luft with 13 lower chain links. The wearer often removed links for comfort. If you check the lower clip by the scabbard ring you will probably find it has been opened slightly to remove the rings.

Yes you are correct! There is evidence of ring removal, Nice observation. Does this hurt the value of the dagger?

Not at all. This is quite common and gives the piece more character IMO. heres a pic of mine.
