hello, i search for any information about PAUL DAMBACHER, was he in the ss ? hope anybody can help me greetings from germany

Hi, do you suspect this man was an officer? The name doesnt show up in the army ranklists or in the major award holders lists, or in the list of Generalstab officers. He also doenst show up in the KM and Luftwaffe ranglists
I did find a Paul Dambacher, Stabsgefreiter, born 24-5-17 and KIA in 1941 in Greece and buried in Greece

I checked the SS name index for the Berlin Document Center records in the National Archives this week and there was no listing for a "Paul Dambacher."
