Question, I saw a pretty tough one today that has been cut in half, it was an MKB42 by walther with a very low number, what would be a good price for this, it's a major project piece to put it back so it looks halfway decent for display. Any thoughts?

I would say around $500 to $800 dependent upon how much work is needed to put it all back together and if all the parts are there and salvageable.

Super SMG predecessor of the MP43/44 STg Series..... IMA, years ago, built Aluminum Receivers - but they are long gone. Sometimes, you can get lucky on: www.gunbrokers.com and find one, but they don't come up often. Also, since your MKB42 is much earlier - it might or, might not, fit. It's definitely worth the work to salvage it!!! Dave/dblmed
