Wotan, Now thats a great example of a beautiful early Eickhorn, the condition looks totally uncleaned and untouched and then to have an original and quite scarce knot and a delightful small period frog. I think a great example of what people should look for if they only want one of these. I'm tryimg to corrulate the measurements on original grip emblems, there were a few diferent styles, could you measure yours for me please.
An extremely nice hirschfänger with all the original accoutrements is a real bonus, Thanks for showing.

Very nice. These Eickhorns are great pieces. These early ones usually have all nickel silver fittings-silver plated and then lacquered. Sometimes these standard ones come with a pommel cap screw with a hole in it instead of a slot as shown here. The post war ones never seem to have the type with the hole and this style is also scarcer on originals.

Another thing to note is the perfect fit of the grip to the fittings. Eickhorn had several sizes of upper and lower fittings to match the size of the stag grip pieces. So-they did'nt have to trim much or anything.I even had a deluxe one recently that had a triangular shaped upper portion of the stag grip. The pommel cap was perfectly fit to it in this unusual triangular shape. This little interesting fact has never been published before.

Thank you Gary/Baz69 I just asked because I sometimes have problems with mailing and would have sent a second time if it did not arrive. Best regards
