Thought you folks were interested in some nice cufflinks. These belonged to Reichskommissar Terboven. They were found in his jacket after the war. The Reichskommissar himself committed suicide. They are now at display in a Norwegian museum.

And here are some advertized in DEN SVENSKE - newspaper of the Swedish SSS. They feature the Vasakarva - a Fasce-like symbol of the great Swedish king Vasa. Earlier, the cufflinks had Swastikas, as that was the symbol of the NSAP which in -38 moderated itself a bit. To the regret of many old members, I might add.

In the front,the with parts have a kind of iridisation like shells have and a decorative structure. I don't know of what this wite material is made of.........ceramic?

'Cufflinks' have some different backs: proper names are: *Cuff buttons, totally ridged. *Hinged cuff buttons, one side or both attached by a hinge. *'Cuff links' which had both piece attached just by a link. * Toggle, movable bar to rear.
