I was fortunate to acquire this matched set from John Pepera at the SOS, a very kind gentleman who spent a lot of time with me and gave me the knowledge and guidance I needed to choose this set.

Very nice Mark! John is the man on these badges. Can we see the reverse?

What do you think of them? I always wanted a matched set and from John, there was absolutely no question of them being "right".

Great set Mark and its really nice seeing that more and more Collectors are starting to appreciate them. Are you going to have them researched ? Big Grin

I am going to have them researched, probably thru Bob McDivitt. It was a genuine pleasure to even meet John Pepera much less to be also to able to get a set directly from him. You are very correct in that I can sleep well as these are without question authentic in a world of good fakes.

Thanks for the comments! Big Grin

Thanks again for hooking me up with that deal Bob ...That's a great set , and the case just topped it off. Funny how things work out sometimes.

Mark ..There's more to it than just owning them , it means more knowing they came from a great guy .
let us know if Mr McDivitt finds out who they belonged to.

So far i don't think a perfect repro has been made of the GPB. After seeing and handling originals you can see the differences. The Blood Order is getting real hard to tell the good from the bad.
