I found this weekend only a nice wine rack for �4,- and 8 plasic clasps for �2,- a bag of 2kg large bolts with nuts for �1.- ��. But here a ring, with a "fatal" slogan I got a few weeks ago....

That's one I'd really like. Good find!....I believe there are ones with the same face that are marked "1914...1916" as well. So you still have one to look for.

Thanks for your reply BadBob . For me this is the first ring-with-slogan I ever have seen ; perhaps there are besides variations in dates( 1914-1916 as you mentioned ) also more variations in the slogans on rings ? Just like the many enameled German WW1 badges have, for examle those on which the Germans curse at the English and Italians or their enemies in general.

Ehrenring, thanks for your info and complement. Another plain WW1 postcard slogan ; "Durch Not und Tod zum Sieg" - "By Extremity and Death to Victory!" .
