Dear fellow collector Nietsche. Personally I always like to try to help. But I hope you will understand that for me it takes much too much time to translate whole files or at least considerable parts of files.
Please see the preamble to this part of the forum: The place for quick German translations and definitions of German Military terms and obsolete words. Please keep requests to approximately 25 words.
There are certain translation bureaus who do this for money.
But I will try to give you an overall thought what the file is on. For free Wink.
#1 and #2 is the curriculum vitae of Hans Kopp. He was born on 16th august 1908. From 05.april 1933 until 22.mai 1933 he was with the voluntary labour corps. Since 1st september 1929 he is nsdapartymember, membership# 146102. SAmember since 01 february 1930. On his peronal wish he has been transfered to the SSon 15th september 1934. Promotion to Unterscharführer per 11.january 1935, to Scharführer (and leader of the SSZug at Lauterbach) on 20th april 1935.

#3 is a letter to the race and settlment main office wherin he sent a photograph of his bride and himself.

#4 again is a curriculum vitae.

#11 is the same as #3

#12 is a writing to Knopp wherin it is stated that several personal documents are sent to him and he should send them himself to the 5th Sturm 83 of SSStandarte at Fulda.
There is also mentioned an SScandidate with name Wolf who still has not done his swearing in.

#13 is the nomination of Kopp for promotion to Oberscharführer

#14 is the approval of nomination to Unterscharführer and additionally nomination for leader of a platoon in 12/83.

#15 is the promition doc to Unterscharführer effective per 11 january 1935.

#13 comes AFTER ##14 and 15 !

Regards,

Wotan, thank you very much for your help. I apologize for posting such long letters. I failed to fully read the preamble and am truly sorry. As dblmed stated "You are a very Kind & Generous man". Your help is greatly appreciated and in the future I will not abuse my privilege
to post on the forum.

Best regards, Jim
