The following personal hunting collection was purchased from Andrew Gates from Saffron Walden in Essex, England. It contains over 30 hunting forestry and shooting pieces that include 8 daggers. I had not seen many of the accessories before and think they will have your interest in the collecting hobby. For all of you German memorabilia collectors Mr. Gates is in the process of selling off his collection of German daggers and swords and accessory that he has spent his lifetime collecting. For information to contact him, he is a member of German Daggers.com. He has over 150 assorted German daggers in his collection plus many accessories. His web page is: www.ww2germandaggers.com I purchased the first two daggers that later led to the purchasing of all of the hunting and forestry collection pieces. I have been collecting hunting pieces over 45 years now. I do not sell anything even though you may see some doubles in my different forum pictures. There are always different comparisons. Photograph # 1 is the display case pictures sent to show what was available for sale. Photos 2 thru 6 are of the first two pieces bought from Mr. Gates before he offered me the collection. You may notice that the daggers are complete and that in itself makes it interesting. This all came about during the period of the MAX Show so I did not feel to bad about missing it this year. Photo # 1.

Photo #30. As you can see by the pictures from the book the hunting and forestry daggers are all about the game animals of the German forests.
