I would say that Graham is a bit confused. While others have questioned the authenticity of this medic helmet, Graham apparently has decided to show it's authenticity by using photos that have been pirated from my website.

See: http://www.germanhelmetsinc.com/Gallery%20M40%20SS%20JAG0001.jpg

and also see: http://www.germanhelmetsinc.com/FAQ%20X%20M40%20grommet.jpg

Is Graham seriously using such a transparent technique in order to make us think that this is an SS medic helmet? or could it be that he didn't receive the correct dosage in the little paper cup this morning?

I would ask myself what has Graham got to gain by showing us your real photos in order to convince us that his helmet is authentic? Shouldn't he be trying to convince himself of its authenticity unless he plans to offer it for sale after showing pirated pictures that are undoubtably of an authentic helmet? Very fishy. Graham needs to explain himself or face expulsion I would suggest. No good can come from what was attempted here, cheers, Ryan

I would agree that Graham needs to explain why he posted what he did.

Graham - The ball is in your court.

Dave

PS - Ken posted the same thing twice so I removed the second post.

we can probably expect silence from Graham in this matter.

Or no....he will tell us that he hit the wrong buttons and attached these pics inadvertantly.

Geez Ken. I found myself laughing while reading this thread, but really it isn't funny at all. Mad

I think that Dave should change the name of this thread to "Even More of a Stir".

"a bit of a stir" These were the last words of an English Pirate hung in North Carolina About 1748. HUM gives one pause for thought. Jerry

I might wonder if Graham is his real name - maybe his initials are consistant with another known ....???.... person.

Anyway, I think this issue should be dealt with swiftly.

The key here is in the title of the thread. He's clearly having everyone on by posting these photo's which is really disappointing and remarkably stupid as several members rallied in sympathy to his original posting. The fact remains that he has pirated photo's from Ken's site and should be dealt with accordingly.

GUILTY BEFORE TRIAL
I HAVE BOUGHT THIS HELMET FROM A DEALER HERE IN THE UK THESE ARE THE PICTURES HE HAS SENT ME OF THE SAID HELMET.IF THESE ARE PHOTOS OF SOMEONE ELSES HELMET THIS HAS SERIOUS IMPLICATIONS FOR THE DEALER.
I HAVE NOTHING TO GAIN BY POSTING THESE PHOTOS IF THEY ARE OF OF SOMEONE ELSES HELMET
YOU GUYS HAVE HELPED ME IN THE PAST AND I RESPECT YOUR GUIDENCE.
IF THESE ARE YOUR PHOTOS TY THEN YOUR WEBSITE IS BEING USED FRAUDUANTLY TO DECIVE OTHERS
THE DEALER WILL NOW BE QUESTIONED WITH THE EVIDENCE AND TAKEN TO COURT IF NEED BE.
YOUR HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Graham, you said in a previous thread that the SS medic was in your collection and you had bought it ten years ago for $8000, are we talking about the same helmet here? http://daggers.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/2583025185/m/1680038814 Do you have it in your collection or is it in the post from the UK dealer? Could you tell me who the UK dealer is? PM it to me if you don't want to post it on the forum. That being said if a dealer had sold me that helmet I would want everyone to know his name. Tim.

I thought you said these have been in your collection for a long time....

QTE

the medic helmet was bought as original cost me $8000 10 years ago i bought it off a dealer here in thr uk he said it was a vet pickup

UNQTE

Something doesn't rime. Why would a dealer send you photos of Ken's helmet? I hate to jump into this clusterf**k, but for every time you post, it raises more questions.

Erik

I AGREE IHAVE A COURT CASE PENDING IF THE DEALER DOES NOT REFUND MY MONEY.
KEN IF IT IS FOUND THAT THIS GUY HAS BEEN USING YOUR PHOTOS THEN I WILL BRING THIS UP IN THE DISPUTE.
IF THIS GOES TO COURT IS THIER ANY MEMBER THAT WOULD WRITE AND GIVE ME PROFFESIONAL ADVICE IN A WRITTEN STATEMENT THAT I COULD USE IN COURT.
THIS HAS PI**ED ME OFF AS MUCH AS ANYONE AS I AM THE ONE CURRENTLY OUT OF POCKET
IF SOME MEMBERS DO DECIDE TO SLATE ME THEN SO BE IT I CAN ONLY OFFER MY WORD THAT NO UNDERHAND DOINGS HAVE BEEN COMMITED BY MYSELF

Hi Graham I for one will not pronounce sentence on you and will extend to you the same benefit of the doubt that I would hope would be given me. Having said this I do strongly urge and believe that you must supply Ken with all of the contact information about this dealer who is fraudulently using Ken's pictures without his permission in order to committ a fraud. This is a reportable incident to the National Internet Crime Complaint Center IC3 and also to the White Collar Crime Center IFCC. Both of these entities are linked with the FBI since 911 and take internet fraud seriously. Image theft is a crime especially when performed to committ a fraudulent act. cheers, Ryan S

this has been a sorry state of affairs that i hope will never replicate itself

That's not good enough Graham. You need to tell me who he is regardless.

What kind of pie he is eating is of no consequence and it is no use to hear his explanation as to why he used the photos because it will be just made up BS anyway. There really is no action to be taken against him.

But you have said that you are not the one who stole these photos. You need to say who it was that did so. If you do not want to put it onto this thread, that's OK. Just e-mail me his info. I can confirm here that you at least did that.

Graham,

I would agree with Ken that you need to supply him with the name and email address of the dealer concerned. Please copy me as well.

Thanks,
Dave

Graham I hope that you come through with this information and clear your name because either the dealer exists and you are above board or this story is a total fabrication and you lifted the photos. In the second case I would imagine that your membership will be terminated and the friendships that you developed here will be ever tarnished. Graham, if you are telling the truth don't become the loser in this equation. Ken is trying to give you the benefit of the doubt but as a forum observer you are starting to make it very difficult to belive what you say. Also you are pretty composed for a guy who might be out $15,000.00 to $20,000.00 I would be frantic. regards, Ryan S

Just one thing to remember before we jump down Graham’s throat. There is a time difference where he lives and in the past he did not respond until later. So, I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt. Let’s face it; anyone who knows anything here knows Ken or someone else would recognize the decals. Graham writes in an articulate fashion so I doubt he would have done such a foolish thing.
Best Wishes,
Bob

Agreed, I know with the Target Arms site they do not post many photos and the majority is by request... they could send you out photos from any site, IE Ken's page and if you don't surf "all" the sites out there would you know if the pics are there's?

Nobody is jumping anywhere, and I am aware of time zones and that things take time to straighten out.

That said, we need a response.

"Graham" sent me a PM with the name of the dealer and then deleted the PM - which I did not know he could do. So ... I don't remember the name he sent. My apologies to all for being uninformed of how the PM system works. It was not one of the noted UK dealers.

I am starting to smell a rat here, as the local saying goes Big Grin.

Graham needs to post some requested pictures and ID that dealer. Reasonably soon, Graham. It's the Queen's Birthday (the real one) and you might have gone to Windsor, or many other events, but do ... update us.
