I saw a pic of it recently on the local TV station here. It is really Silly! I will try to find an image somewhere to post it here. It is so full of nonsense and glaring contradictions, it's only value is for a good laugh.

Based on the decoration, portrait and eagle style, the book mark looks like something from the early 1930's when assorted Hitler items were produced as souvenirs. Later, producing items with Hitler's image required NSDAP permission.
Perhaps an enterprizing individual enhanced one with the engraving and gold plate. I could find no reference to gold marks on this piece, aside from the press attribution of it being 18k gold with an estimated value of $13,000.
