Victors write history, not the losers. History shows the Allies installed the "New German Goverment" and it seems reasonable that new goverment would appoint a "special" committe to review the Dresden incident. The closer to an event, the more accurate the details. No time for the "spin". And as far as the communist opinion on "numbers", I don't care to know. Wasn't it Stalin that pushed for the bombing any way?
