Hi Wetzel,

Thank you for pointing that out lol. No pun intended I did see your spear punch blade but didn't notice the awl with sewing eye blade. Very nice catch! Thank you for sharing it with us!

I should have used the word awl to describe the other "punch" blade. The awl is pictured to the left of the thumb in the seller's photo.

The awl folds into the side of the pearl handle, the awl has two flat sides and is rounded on the other side.

I found an interesting knife on the popular auction site and sent the link to "Mr. K." in Germany. It was listed as MOSER, German or Swiss knife.

"Mr. K." liked the knife and texted me it was Swiss made about circa 1900. I won the knife for about $42.00 with S+H. I bought the knife for "Mr. K." and will probably make a trade in April.

"Mr. K." sent the link for the Elsinox / MOSER web site and Elsinox at the site also confirmed the knife as made about 1900.

Research notes: Circa 1900, MOSER, (Signau), horn handle, master blade, saw blade, awl and corkscrew. MOSER maker's mark on blade.

The other knife pictured is French, maker's mark POYET-SIVET, Laguiole (Thiers), horn handle, circa about 1920's-1930's. Both knives are 4 1/4" closed.
