This is an interesting one. Does anyone see a particular inscription that would set this off from other models. Mosty of these blades came from Solongen so I am not sure what he is going on about.

This one is interesting. However, I'm not sure if the sellers description is correct. He mentions that the blade is damask. If so, then this would be a very rare piece. However, I see no evidence of this in the pictures. I sent the seller a message asking for close up pictures of the blade. That was almost 2 days ago and I have not received a reply.

I have a book "bulgarian daggers" by DR. Todor Petrov from description from the seller and photos compare to the book this is correct dagger but not damascus blade. It looks like army dagger first model , this model comes with hanger made of leather and maker mark Robert Klass Solingen .Second model comes with hanger very similar like WH dagger. The inscription on the blade also compare to description in the book. Hi Zet, I agree, from what I can tell it is a standard Bulgarian Army dagger with the correct inscription on the blade. I do not understand why "Damask" was mentioned by the seller. I'm assuming it was just a mistake. However, the dagger and hangers look original to me. The price would seem to be high unless there's something special about this piece that I am missing.

I think you are right but for me it is first model with second model hangers. It is happend very often when someone want to sell dagger in good price , aplly some medals ,photos ,etc to bit price of the dagger. Im not telling that seller is a cheater but maybe he doesnt know what he sells . Regards Zet
