Hello All, picked these items up this morning from my ex-wife, [free!] Her house belonged to a WW-2 vet. She found them in a built-in bookcase w/cabinets. The items are an unopened K-ration, Good-Conduct medal, sewing kit, and visor eagle. Also, a "ships newspaper" [I think] "The Wakefield Watch" U.S.S. Wakefield AP-21 dated 26 Dec 1944. Also, another, The Mitchell Mix-Up, U.S.S. General Billy Mitchell, dated4 August, 1944 Thought I would share, Smile Regards, Leipzig

Very nice! Is the GC medal named?
The treasure is the ration for sure!

Thanks, Mr. Jerry! No, the medal is not named. The ration has the "flap" torn off one end and the inside box is covered in a brown, "waxy" material[waterproofing]? It is stuck to the outside box and won't come out. I won't fool with it! Regards, Leipzig
