Hi Guys I have read the previous threads on the difficulty or Id'ing ss 4yr medals and I dont mean to bore you all to death or make you yawn. I wanted to stick a couple of pics up as mine is a little different from the others I have viewed. The medal is painted black, the paint is kinda starting to flake off a little, the runes look a little fat to me and dont seem to be the stereotypical type, perhaps not crisp enough, the ribbon seems correct and is aged correctly, looks period, it is sewn just above the loop inside very neatly to hold it correctly and has the correct pin also sewn in correctly. The loop itself is joined on the side about half way, kinda hard to see as the ribbon is sewn quite tight against it. As for the case, I dont have too much hope for it but any comments on this item would be cool.

Hi Guys Has nobody really got not a word to say about the case or medal, even a little dribble of speculation or insight. Bit disappointed, maybe too boring a topic ? Anyone got a painted ss 4yr or a case like this, I really would like to hear some views, like any at all would be good =)

Redrum, A much clearer image would be better. These medals I believe are getting heavely faked now.Dosen't the background on these have a stippling effect?
