I would like to share my latest treasure, a named and dated Eickhorn shooting award saber. Can anyone tell me what the letter "B" which precedes Schuetzenbund stands for? Thanks! Joe S

Just a guess, but I'd think it would be "Dem Besten Schützenbundes", i.e "The best shooting-association" or something along those lines. (maybe my grammar is not 100% )

The g.v.d. Damen is I think, "gewidmet von dem Damen" and should translate to "presented by the ladies" (or perhaps female members). Wonderful piece!
