Any information on this SS knife would be appreciated. The maker is Carl Eickhorn Solingen. The handle has additional markings including SS and RZM. The knife folds up. The picture is a scan and is the best I can do right now.

A well known fake, never made durn the period '33-'45 at all. Also welcome to the forum stick around and you will learn whats right and whats not.

Tom Johnson mentioned it in his first dagger book as as known fake. I think that some were made in India. Actually there were a couple of versions of the "pantograpgh" knife made in Germany in the 1930's, but none were SS. I think they are neat looking knives and I would buy one for $25 or so. Dave
