Hello;
I picked up some bayonets this weekend and am not sure what era they are.
The first one has a handle like WWII German bayonets but have 14" blades.
Any help will be appreciated. Smile

The second bayonet is a stag handle with a slot for rifle mounting. It appears to be WWI German but has no markings at all. It has a leather scabbard.

The 14 inch bayonet scaber is a Yugo for sure. I think the bayonet is German made for export. And was made in 1917 from the acceptance mark on the spine.

The long bayonet is a Yugoslavian Model 24b, converted from a WW1 German SG 98/05 with German 1917 acceptance stamp, by the Kragujevac Arsenal.

'AT3', cyrillic for ATZ, = Artiljerijskio Technicki Zavod (Artillery Technical Factory), in Kragujevac, Serbia, now Crvena Zastava.

I cant verify right now, but if my memory is correct, the AT3 marking was used until around 1930. Its successor was the BT3 marking.

IMO the dress bayonet is late WWI or early WWII. Is the blade plated steel? The scabbard I would guess not orginal to the bayonet.

Howdy TK;
The blade is not plated.
I wondered about the scabbard also. You never know what you will turn up. I really appreciate your help.
Thanks
Steve

Did they not have short police bayonets in this style (with leather scabbard and stag grips..)?
