Hey gang! My newest buckle arrived today! I have a few RAD box buckles but didn't have an officer brocade until this one showed up today. Nicely dated and Assman marked. Thought I'd throw up a few pics! Cheers!

Great looking buckle. I wonder how many different dates were made? I have a 36 and 38.Have you seen any others?

Glad you guys like it! Raymond: that is an excellent question - I checked my three buckles and one is dated 36, the other 38, and the last one is a two piece model with no markings. 1936 was the first year these were made so none prior to that. I'm pretty sure I've seen a '37 dated buckle but haven't seen any '39 dated ones. I know that there are no other RAD buckles that were manufactured post 1940 so that is the last possible date of manufacture on authentic RAD buckles.
Cheers! Rob

Thanks for that info Rob. I'll have to keep an eye out for other dates.
