Raymond, I think it could be a 73 instead of 13. Compared with the other 13's shown, the '1' looks to be angled, not straight up and down like the others. Not sure about the other one, can you post some more pics of the number? Great medals!
If you've got one or more medals, please post pics and the makers mark on the ring. Also, details of any packets for the medals as well.
3 = Wilhelm Deumer, Ldenscheid 7 = Paul Meybauer, Berlin 8 = Ferdinand Hoffsttter Bonn a. Rhein 10 = Foerster & Barth, Pforzheim 13 = Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen 73 = Franz Mnert Gablonz 100 = Rudolf Wchtler & Lange, Mittwaida 107 = Carl Wild, Hamburg 110 = Otto Zappe, Gablonz 127 = Moritz Hausch A.G. Pforzheim L/15 = Otto Schickle Pforzheim
Others:
1 = Deschler & Sohn, Mnchen, marked packet, un-marked medal 7 = Paul Meybauer, Berlin, marked packet, un-marked medal 66 = Friedrich Keller, Oberstein, marked packet, no medal 98 = Rudolf Souval, Wien, marked packet, un-marked medal

Hi Dave, thanks. Nice document. I haven't seen you for awhile. Maybe I'll see you at Allentown or Tottowa. Happy New Year.

Very nice medals and documents! Raymond, can you post a clearer pic of the number that you can't identify? Could it be a 98 or 86?

My camera just doesn't get a good clear image that close up. I used a little white paint to try and highlight it. This is the best I could get. Looks like #65 but i'd want to see one that's unquestionably marked 65 to be sure.

Russel, I think your correct on the #73. I looked with them side by side and the 7 is angled more than the 1 on the upright part but less angled on the top part(if that makes any sence). The 3 is also shaped diferently.

Raymond, it does look like a 65 from your pic. I enhanced the image to try and make it stand out more.
Anyone got a 65 for comparison?
Regards Russell

Here are 3 more I picked up. First is a marked #65 in the packet. Unfortunately someone removed the name from the back of the packet.
** As usual I started taking photos and forgot that the medal came with the wrong packet. This is a "Westwall" medal packet.**

3rd is a unmarked example with the packet marked "Julius Maurer, Oberstein/Nabe" (LDO # would be 138). The strange thing is the packet doesn't have the medal name on the front.
