Picked this up alittle over a week ago indirectly from the vets family, at first I thought it was just a M35 SD but the other night while looking at it again it spoted the other decal under the camo paint, made my day when I saw that, so I thought I would share it here. The camo is pretty nice and subtle, the guy must have been near some electric wires at some point and go a small zap which is what the holes are from above the eagle decal. The code is NS64 and the number on the back rim is D112, there is a nme in it also but it is very faint and hard to read.

last one, this is the national emblem under the paint, you can see the red just poking thru in the crack of the paint.

Nice lid fritziii, I always loved these M35 lids. I hear you on the replies, don't get too many on any of the forums anymore unless its a controversial topic. I think the hay day of forum collecting is over. To bad I remember 100 new post or more on a slow day. You can't find that anywhere anymore. It'd be great to see it back but I doubt it will ever return to that level. I posted two topics yesterday and haven't received one reply. Go figure.

Nice M35 Heer Helmet looks like it has the aluminium liner band that was reinforced with a aluminium plate as a modification from 1938-1940. Jeff
