That looks like a good A.D. Schwerdt or Adolf Scholze PAB. Would be nice to see the catch but if in good shape I would give a ballpark value of $150 to $175.

Thanks for the reply. Attached is a photo of the catch. There is some corrosion? on the head of the eagle and the details are not very clear. Were these a nickle finish origionally?
Can they be cleaned? Should it be left alone?

Thanks for the catch photo. Yes indeed, that's a good one. As for cleaning, I generally leave items alone but that's your call ;~) The Restoration & Conservation Forum may offer help on best way to clean.

Nice original A.D. Schwerdt PAB. Put some vasoline on it for 24 hours and then wipe it off.
