Can anyone give a reading of the stampings on the rear visor. Looks like: B.A. 8 Tt A. 8 1915
Also an ink stamping ...4E... on opposite end..

FG; I think your Tt is actually a Tr. Possiby a bagage train unit 8 or a train unit 4E might be Eisenbahn Rgt4. Very nice helmet by the way . You can try Picklehaubs.com for maybe a better answer. Jerry

1. Rheinische Train-Abteilung Nr.8, founded 21. 4. 1853, standing in Coblenz.
A nice helmet not in best, but in good condition.
