This is clearly a record. Of course, the guy says they look German, but they are your basice early Russian hangers that sell for $20 to $30.

So, another buyer with more money than brains.

Jim: These are the Soviet navy hangers for the 1947 to 1955 period (Stalin). I have seen these advertised as 1860 type German naval hangers for $350 by a well known dealer in Germany. Although you may find those priced in the $30 to $50 range, they are getting to be pretty hard to find anymore. The set usually includes the ribbon belt.

Thanks Manfred. I was able to pick up several sets of these while in Europe. I am always amazed at the prices some people will pay without research.

Jim, I need a set to match up to a 1958 Soviet Naval Dagger, preferably with a belt as well.

I'm sure I can find them on ebay, but I would rather buy from a member.

I have both the black and yellow naval hangers with belts extra.

Email me at [email protected]. They are not very expensive and I purchased these from a Russian in Warsaw years ago.

We might check with Manfred on the type. But, I suggest the black belt and hangers.

1958 is post Stalin so the black and the yellow hangers and belt worn until 1990 are ok. The black belt and hangers are worn with the service uniform, the yellow brocade with the parade uniform.
