Bernd, very nice collection of Customs items. I have 1 tunic that is so moth eaten I planned to strip it and use the small amount of salvageable cloth to repair other items but, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Yours looks to be in excellent condition. Do you have any photos of the interior?

Raymond : I don't have any interior Photo , but the entire interior is lined with a green silk liner and the sleeve have the more standard white with gray stripes cotton liner .The tunic is in great shape .I got it 3 years ago at the SOS show , when prices were still a little more reasonable ! Actual I also got a long rubberized raincoat with it that also had the cuffband on the lefthand sleeve . There were also high ranking slip-on shoulder boards for a 'Oberzollrat ' on that raincoat ! If you want to see more of my Customs collection , you can see it on the 'wehrmacht-awards' site under the "Police&Civil Organizations Forum " ,where I posted it under the topic of 'Customs stuff ' ( DougO )on 09-16-2007. Have fun , Bernd .

Bernd .....Your Zoll assemblage is a knock out!!!
What beautiful and vivid colors, which have kept their brillance over all of the years.
Your tunic and visor are quite spectacular!
To also have the Urkunde and Foto, is just icing on the cake!
Great addition to your collection... Dave/dblmed

Hi Bernd...I have a tunic same rank as you but the shoulder boards have no cypher, and the collar patches are heavy bullion. There are no holes for cyphers so perhaps a different section of Customs.

Tristan : Thank you for showing your SUPER NICE tunic ! Very nice bullion tabs and shoulder boards ; his rank matches my guy in the pass port photo . In the "Rankabzeichen " List I have 193?-1945 , all shoulderboards above 'Zollwachtmeister' show the "RFV" CYPHER. So I have no idea ,why your's don't have it .Regards, Bernd.

You also might have noticed that the tunic below these caps looks a little different in it's material ! It is a heavy wool winter type tunic .
