The clip looks like it might be "pot" metal from the picture. Unmarked clips are usually early production and are solid nickle silver.
If it is made of "pot" metal it is not good.

Although there is a lot of variation in these leather hangers, I don't like the prong on the oval buckle. It looks too long and has an odd bend to it.
