Finally I was able to fill another gap in my collection.
There were 4 auctions on german ebay, all from the same SS-Helferin. Two portraits and two small stacks of photos.
I was only able to get one grouping of 19 photos, prices went crazy high on the portraits.

BUT !!

Today I got the photos and here they are:

Let's talk about the first photo. Taken 1944 at Venedig in Italy, it shows even 2 SS-Helferinnen, wearing their badges and wearing the cuff-title "Reichsschule-SS".

The portraits which I did not get and which were sold for much more money, did not show the cuff-title and the breast-badge.

So, I am much more happy with these photos.

Details of the first photo:

That closes another big chapter in collecting period photographs.

Happy to share this with You.

Kind regards
Robert

Herzlichen Glueckwuensch. They seem very happy in Venice. An impressive find.

Please understand I'm asking a straight question here. What roles did these females serve in the SS?

I know they held SS Helferinnen courses in the female KZ Ravensbruck, but this is the black part. SS Helferinnen where used in the same way like the WH did for radio, news, or staff auxiliary work.

Thanks Robert,
Excellent shots. It's especially interesting to see a good view of the overcoat. I have attached the clothing list for this group as it seemed like an appropriate companion piece to your photos.

Super images as usual Robert - vielen dank u. gratulieren!

But why does the badge of the lady on the left seem to show a reversed design - blk. runes on white? Did it just not matter, like the "positive/negative" seen on SS sport shirt insignias?

@inimicus

The lady on the left is wearing the same badge as the other lady, white runes on black. It seems there was a scratch or spot or a damage on the original negative. It is not on the photo but looks like if someone tried to "hide" the SS-badge, which makes no sense for me -as the badge of the other lady is good to see.

Kind regards
Robert
