Recent pickup....Boar's head hunting sword.....Probably from mid 18 hundreds...27" long.....highly detailed head.....with over the shoulder carrying sash and portepee....

Lou, That would look good hanging on my wall. Most of the boar head pieces I see are plain blades and beat up pretty bad. Nice find. Yager

Sweet dagger Lou, I love then boarsheads as well and thats a particularily nice rendition of the keiler kopf. Nice find with the sash as well, thats another thing not normally found.

I like it.
