While most of the boys were out playing at the SOS in Louisville this year, I had to stay at home. Therefore, I decided to do a little "playing" myself and brought my LAH kit out to see the light of day for a while. The tunic and mantel both belonged to the same man, Scharfuhrer Neuhaus, and are name to him inside the coats. The rest of the associated pieces are all eaither RZM or SS/RZM marked with the exception of the necktie which is modern.

The three helmets are the last of my blackies and can be seen in a better and closer pic on the Helmet Forum. I kept my Baer book featured M35 and two wonderful Austrian shell M16s...which appear in Kelly Hicks' books on SS helmets.

Now you need a Spint how they called the closets in the Kasernen. Very nice hard to find items you have here shown Darryl, the right equipment is very tough to find these days!
Maybe I find a LAH clothes hanger for you next week in Germany or maybe I have already one Wink

thanks for the pictures !

Darryl, that is fantastic, and a true feast to the eye!!! It for sure redefines the definition "high end"!! Big Grin

You were missed at the SOS, but I can see that you have had at least as much fun as we had. Hope to see you at the SOS next year though.

Erik

Man, it looks you ready to join the Nürnberg rallies! What an awesome display. If I would publish a book on the subject these pictures would go in it.
