Can anyone tell me what branch and company this knot would be attributed to.

Mike,
Your knot is an enlisted Troddel for the 18th Infantry Company.

Thanks very much! I have trouble keeping up with these things. Would this be one usually found on a dress K98 or would you have an occasion to find it on a combat piece?

Mike,
I believe this knot's use would be confined to a dress bayonet only.
