Found these pics today as well. When this model was built it was the first armor model I had assembled in over 25 years. Of course, it couldn't be made OOTB. Oh no, that would never do, it had to receive about 300 machined brass, aluminum and styrene goo-gahs and fiddly bits. Cody

I'll say one thing ,If you didn't say this was a model and just showed the pictures some may think this was a real vehicle, myself included.Beauty full model and great workmanship.

Great and realistic weathering - beautiful craftsmanship - especially to the wheels. Regards Russell

I think you are a genius to make something like that from scratch. Extremely talented and it shows. Got more stuff to show? Mark

The model is only about 1/3 scratchbuilt while retaining the basic hull, suspension, gun/shield, the big shapes. With kits I like to remove the molded-in details and replace same with machined bits.

Thanks, but, I shoor aren't no genius. The model is only about 1/3 scratchbuilt while retaining the big shapes like the basic hull, suspension, gun/shield. With kits I like to remove the molded-in details and replace same with machined bits. Gives the model a look which is both 'busy' and visually interesting. Cody

Your work leaves me speechless. I love what you did with the tires... the weathering. My sincere compliments!
