I think it's a shoulder board insignia soldered to a plain box. Maybe it was made for a private purchase? Any maker marks on it?

no maker marks and it is stamped one piece. thanks for the reply also

Polish flea market item.. Really quite convincing! There was a big rush of them about 10 years ago. A little after that they started to appear on ePier for a few years.. Many were real silver, some a weird alloy....

Thanks that is what I thought it is to close to my first war match safes and these where not carried over into WW11.
