Hi friends, I was offerd this dagger. Havent seen one like this before and doubt that it real. Can anyone help, need to know by the evening. No markers on the blade!

Looks to be a TeNo Leader's dagger. Do you have pictures of the maker mark? Is the blade numbered at all? In your third picture, the blade looks to have been steel wooled.

It's supposed to be a TENO officer's dagger but it looks a bit iffy. The shape of the grip is too 'up and down' without a swell in the middle. Are there any numbers stamped on the blade under the eagle and on the throat of the scabbard? Should have an Eickhorn makers mark. Pics would help.

Compare the grip with the spare one being offered on www.collectortocollectormilitaria.com this one completely different and would pass on it unless as previously stated its less than say $100

No doubt its a fake, looks a lot like the current Chinese copies... not even close. A lot of these are turning up on eBan these days, often well aged...
