M1861 .44 cal, popular during the civil war and for post-war conversion to cartridge because of the solid frame, not as common as the M1858 and worth a bit more. That'a a decent looking example.

Hi, Thanks for the information. I checked he caliber and it appears to be a .36 cal. and not a .44 cal. CHUCK

8" barrels were .44, 7.37" barrels were .36. Didn't look on the next page to see the .36 listing, but the rarity and value are the same Wink
