Thats a great piece Mark. How big is it?

Very nice piece! I wouldn't mind having that one for myself! And as always, very good photography.

Mark,

Simply superb! A very tasteful and elegant design.

Have you owned this unit for a while or did you just add it to your collection? I wonder who received these, (officers, etc?) and how many were produced for that memorable occasion?

Thanks for sharing! Smile

Bill

I bought this piece and the 1939 SS Rally bowl from Helmut Weitze at an SOS show a few years back. He just bought them and they were both on his table all of 10 minutes.

It is 5 3/4" tall and 5" across the top of the rim.

Kris has the production figures on his new site. Few remain today due to the SS markings and as we know, anything with SS on it was dumped, destroyed or defaced. To have a nice piece like this with the Reich Adler and the SS wording is a real treasure.

To my knowledge all the SS men who attended the Rally were presented one.

Glad you like it, it is one of my favorites!

That is quite a fantastic piece. Eek

Trully beautiful and superb.
Well done, great purchase.
I'm glad this one stayed in North America and just didn't fly to Russia. Wink
