just picked up this oval insignia kahki felt with white sieg rune lenght 4 in. This insignia only shows up as being used by the early NSS the LEAGUE OF GERMAN SCHOOL STUDENTS. Any thoughts out there

I would guess Dutch. They used that a lot.

Thanks for the reply Dave but I just don't think the colour style points to the Dutch but I will pursue that angle.Littlejohn's book shows a lapel pin for the NSS exactly like this piece.

Paul, With the chain type stich, colors ,it kind of reminds me of something SA or maybe early HJ.. White rune?! or is it yellow? What your source material for the NSS referral?
