Hi, Manfred Vogel and I own and have created www.germandressdaggers.comIt is free site with information and images of German Dress Daggers for public access. I have created web pages for most of the standard German Daggers but I am looking for additional daggers images to add to the site. If you have genuine German daggers that are not shown on our site and you wish to have them displayed (presentation, personalised etc) then please get in touch and I will gladdly add them to the site. Have a look at the site and you will see the format I use for dagger pages (select the Dagger Gallery on the Home page to view) The link is: www.germandressdaggers.comI look forward to hear from a fellow collectors, if you don't have any dagger images to add then at least have a good time viewing the site.

Peter, weren't you a member here previously? I remember your website from a number of years ago.

Hi,
yes I was, a few years ago.
I still collect but have not been on the site for a few years, just drop by occasionally for a look.
I have run out of daggers to add to the site hence my post here.
Nice to be remembered!!!

Hi Peter,
It's good to see the site being updated, seems to have been dormant for a while...
I think your dagger price guide section could do with a re-think, a few stand out as being off, especially Teno, also RLB 2nd Model vs Govt Official, SA Rohm & SA '36 Chained?
Some nice reference pics, great to see Manfred's magnificent pristine collection.

Hi Red,
yes, after the initial glut of daggers going on the site I ran out of things to do, hence this post, I am also happy to have a German sword section if I can get enough sword examples to add to the site.
If anyone has ideas on how to improve the site then let me know.
As befor, if anyone has a few genuine, special daggers then get in touch.
I have recently revamped the site, made it more attractive and rectiifed some of the mistakes I made when first set up.

Red,
on the pricing side I am happy for anyone to give me an updated version of prices, I add them based on my view of the world which may not be right.
I also say the prices are based upon a "fair" dagger, double or treble if better, half the price if poor. This gives me a bit of leaway !!!!!!
