some type of crash helmet, tanker perhaps?? I've never seen one like this.any help appreciated.Thanks Geoff. Confused

It is a motorcycle police crashhelmet from Spain : post-war I believe . They have been used to fake a German police crash helmet by putting a 3rd Reich police eagle on the front !!!

Spanish tankers helmet.. I believe the Italian is the same or very close.

Polish where do you get that ? The only countries ever shown with this helmet are ITALY and Spain. What reference do you have ? I believe these are all war time issue used well into the 70s by Spain until the mass surplus sales where all the neat helmets etc came into N AMERICA.

Yes, its Spanish and has the "Falangist" eagle badge affixed to the front.I have seen alot of these helmets with German III Reich emblems attached to the front at Flea markets, vendors are selling them as IIIReich crash helmets.
