Hi Friends, I was offerd this Landzolldagger. I am ot sure if it is a fake or made from several original parts. The gip is leather and inside it is metall. No stampings anywhere. The pommel seems to be the wrong one it looks like a army daggers one! Please let me know your opinions. Thanks dirk

Hi Dirk
The crossgaurd is not Land Customs either, yours appears to be an army. The leather is also very bright, as they usually tone to a dark colour with age and handling, also, the leather seam on the grip seems folded over at the join, again this wouldn't be seen on a period piece. Do the lines on the scabbard fitting run all the way around to the back? Do you have pics of the blade and tang?
