I have acquired this A. W. Wingen knife seen below (hopefully)
I am just curious to know more about it. It is marked Anton Wingen Jr. , Sollinger, Germany, Roster(f?)ei just to the right of his Othello makers mark, or whatever it is known as. It seems like it could almost be attached as a bayonet, but I'm not sure about that. I have looked everywhere on the internet and can't find one like this that he made. Lots of modern copies, but not one other real one. Does anyone know anything about this knife? Thanks in advance! Michael

Your Wingen knife is a civilian hunting knife and does not attach to a rifle. These were sold in Germany and exported as well. Since your knife is marked "Germany" it was likely made for export.
I hope this is helpful.
