Can this product be use on the German Badges WWI and WWII and Iron Crosses in order to preserve them (can it cause any damage)?

I am thinking due to the delicate nature of some of the old finishes found on medals and badges and the composition of some badges, you may find it difficult to get someone to commit to a firm answer.

You may wish to consider a climate controlled display case.
There is also the option of electric moisture control units.

Hi Fernando,
I have used Ren Wax on everything you can imagine except cloth items and paper. No problems in my experience. What you seal in is what it will look like for quite some time. Just be certain the item is perfectly dry before you apply the wax. All my daggers and scabbards have it on them.

Has any one used it over brenlac or any painted or lacquer surface? What about over zinc?
