Whether always a belt made of a leather? Or from a fabric too it is allowable, how on it? It is a fake or the original?

from the book is Sword Knot in my opinion if the crown and tassel are made of fabric rather copy, but my opinion only .Regards zet

Not a fake but it is possible it has been re-conditioned/parts with a replaced strap. The strap seems to be in much better condition than the ball. There are many period knots with cloth straps.
This type knot with cloth or leather strap or even a hard plastic strap was used on the early SS silver saber and also by a number of units in the Weimar era. But--there is usually a black insert to the ball. This type strap is also proper for the Land Customs Officer. It may be a variation of some sort but I would guess--parts.
