hi all the other day a friend asked me a question

"anyhow was reading a book on SS Uniforms and in headgear section said ss police sometimes wore the normal field police cap and officers got an allowance to buy their own cap with ss insignia book was by bender, Taylor so should be fairly accurate, have you heard of this before? "

i dont know much about this anyone got any info on this?
