Dave,
I saw one of these reproductions at a gun show within the last year. They are actually not that poorly made but are obvious fakes when you pick them up to look at them. The quality of construction and finish is below par but they seem newly made and not reworks of old Tschakos.

Bill,
It looks like you found the source for these. The oddly colored reproduction brown leather on the right I have seen before. These are pretty good repops but the stitching is uneven and the finishing leaves something to be desired so once you handle them they are easily spotted. They will no doubt improve their product with practice though.
